What happens after decades of fun?

A classic in new splendor: Exciting After Sales project for a Medium Tivoli Coaster in Japan.

At ZIERER, we take immense pride in our commitment to high-quality standards, which not only leads to exceptionally long operational durability but also contributes to sustainability in the amusement industry.
What makes our work truly special is that, despite constant technological advancements, our goal remains the same all the time: to bring joy to every guest, whether young or old, for a moment of happiness.

But what happens when the ravages of time take their toll on a popular coaster?

Replacing an old coaster with a new one is the obvious and probably the most common option. However, there are other ways to make an ageing coaster fit for the future, tailored to the needs of our customers.
A Japanese amusement park with a Medium Tivoli Coaster built in 1998 was faced with the crucial question of what to do with the popular coaster. Tobu Zoo wanted to keep the familiar look of the now ageing ladybug that visitors have known and loved for many years. The amusement park approached ZIERER After Sales with a special request. The main focus was to preserve the special charm of the past. The After Sales team was able to meet this challenge and fulfil the customer's wishes completely!

At Tobu Zoo, an old train has been replaced by an identical replica, which clearly retains the original theme. Guests at Tobu Zoo will be delighted that future generations will be able to experience the timeless charm of the Medium Tivoli Coaster.
We would like to thank Hanwa and Tobu Zoo for their continued trust in ZIERER and we wish all guests of Tobu Zoo endless fun and joy as they continue to enjoy this beloved ride! This project proves that even decades-old attractions can be revitalized by our After Sales team and can be enjoyed by future generations, ensuring that the joy and excitement of our rides continue for years to come!
