The Ellipse Flyer is the newest ZIERER ride and thrills young and old alike. Suspended seating combined with an increasing sense of zero gravity and four rotating gondola units with eight passengers each create a unique ride experience. After the passengers have finished the boarding and the operator has manually locked the cushioned shoulder restraint safety bars, the ride is ready to start. The hydraulic system lowers the loading platform and the Ellipse Flyer begins to swing. With only a few directional changes, the ride reaches its top position before the elliptical rotation continues. Available as an option, artificial steam can be produced to create the illusion of an industrial environment during the ride.
A great and exciting feature is that the ride can be stopped in approximately 10 m / 32.8 ft. height with the gondola units still rotating so that the passengers can enjoy the wonderful park view.
The Ellipse Flyer has space for 32 passengers separated on four gondola units with eight individual, ergonomically foam cushioned seats. The guests are secured by cushioned shoulder restraints which meet the usual highest quality and safety standards that are provided by ZIERER.
Apart from the great and unique Steam Punk design, we are of course able to realize any customer wishes regarding the design. If you need further inspiration, we have already designed a jungle or an underwater concept for the ride.
