The Cycle Fun Rail is another awesome family ride by ZIERER. Because of its design and appealing decoration, this ride will blend in perfectly in any park’s landscape and themed areas. The Cycle Fun Rail is a true classic, where families can enjoy a calm ride with a panoramic view over the park. With this great view during the ride, visitors can explore the park from above and decide which attraction to ride next or maybe spot a restaurant for a small break.
The vehicles of the Cycle Fun Rail don’t have an electrical drive system. However, they are propelled by pure muscle power with the passengers using the pedals to move forward. Starting at a height of approx. 1.15 m / 45.3 in., visitors are able to reach the pedals. But don’t worry because also small children can ride along as the gondolas can be easily driven by only one person pedaling. Our brand-new padel system makes this possible! In addition and respecting each passenger’s height, the pedals can be adjusted according to his or her requirements. This guarantees a smooth pedaling experience.
The layout of the Cycle Fun Rail can of course be adapted to the customer’s requirements in order to integrate the ride perfectly into the park and the respective site. This is why the columns can be adjusted according to the ground conditions of the park. The columns can go up to a maximum height of 5 m / 16.4 ft. allowing to overcome different height levels.
Reflecting ZIERER’s commitment to safety, passengers will of course feel safe during the ride. Each seat is equipped with a two-point safety belt. This safety belt is locked during operation. It can only be unlocked once the gondolas reach the station and the passenger can safely exit the vehicle. Furthermore, each gondola has a safety bumper at the front and the rear end to prevent collisions.
There are no limits when it comes to the theming of the Cycle Fun Rail. Apart from our standard Rikshaw decoration, our artists have already come up with several sketches ranging from animals to different vehicles. Of course, they would love to realize other unique theming ideas.
