Since 1985, Duinrell Theme Park has been a magnet for young and old with its Large Tivoli Coaster. During this time, the popular classic has lived up to its name, and not just with passengers. That is why the park's management faced the challenging question of what to do with the ride after all these years?
Four decades are a testament to ZIERER's quality standards and that was one of the reasons why Duinrell decided to replace the existing ride with a new ZIERER roller coaster.
It was very important to the park that the coaster, which had become a cult attraction, would not disappear from the scene completely. It was therefore decided that the design and layout of the new Custom Force Coaster would be very similar to its predecessor, despite the latest technology. Planning for the construction of the Custom Force Coaster is gathering pace and visitors at Duinrell will have to look closely when the ride opens the first time 2026 to see the differences. However, the experience of riding a new Custom Force Coaster will be much more impressive.
This Force Coaster will be equipped with the latest technology and thus create a smooth and fun ride that will last another 40 years. The contract for this special project was signed at IAAPA Expo in Orlando in November 2024. Nothing stands in the way of the construction of the new Custom Force Coaster.
ZIERER stands for long-lasting products, so we are all looking forward to seeing the next generations in Duinrell being pulled through the park's trees by Rick de Kikker and coming off the ride with a big smile on their faces.
