The company Mountain Innovations GmbH is a foundation of the two companies Stahl-Hacksteiner-Metall GmbH, Faistenau (Salzburg), Austria and ZIERER Karussell- und Spezialmaschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG, Deggendorf, Germany. Mountain Innovations GmbH will deal with new and innovative ride and sports equipment to stimulate the summer season in the mountains.
The newly established company is now owner of the so called ROLLBOB©, a rail-guided bobsleigh track, that is available all year round and was developed and carried out by Stahl-Hacksteiner-Metall. The advantage of the track is that the guests drive down the hills within closed bobs – in contrast to what was usual before with toboggans.
The concentration of the competencies of both companies Stahl-Hacksteiner-Metall and ZIERER within Mountain Innvoations enables optimal conditions due to project development, design and international sales as well as service, maintenance and spare parts stock. This way also new sport and leisure facilities can be carried out starting with the first ideas to final product from a single source.
In 2020 a new attractive ROLLBOB© project is already planned in cooperation with the Bad Kleinkirchheimer Bergbahnen in Kärnten/Austria.
